Apakah Milbank Keliru?: Tinjauan atas Polemik John Milbank dan Teolog Scotist Kontemporer Perihal Doktrin Univocity
Abstract
Artikel ini menganalisis doktrin univocity dalam polemik teologis antara John Milbank dan teolog-teolog Scotist kontemporer. Di dalamnya, penulis mengusung pernyataan tesis bahwa kekeliruan Milbank dalam memahami doktrin univocity secara paradoksal membuktikan validitas argumennya. Penulis mempertanggungjawabkan pernyataan tesisnya dengan memberikan penjelasan bercabang tiga. Masing-masing bagian berfokus pada argumen Milbank terhadap John Duns Scotus, kritik teolog-teolog Scotist kontemporer terhadap Milbank, dan alasan-alasan yang mengindikasikan sifat paradoksal dari argumen Milbank.
