John Gospel has one focuses on the need of human beings to have a deep relationship with God. the same idea also can be found in Javanesse text, Surat Centhini. Both has the same purpose of spiritual life that is union with God or manunggaling kawula Gusti. The methodology will employ "cross-textual reading". The method seeks to provide space for readers to understand the text of the Holy Scriptures in the context of religious diversity, such as in Indonesia. The study wants to juxtapose the concept of manunggaling kawula Gusti which is taken from Serat Centhini VI, the song Gurisa pupuh 368:46-56 with the Gospel of John about the true vine. Salah satu bentuk kegiatan tersebut adalah memberi perhatian kepada paroki. Sampai saat ini, paroki adalah bentuk kehidupan Katolik dalam wilayah tertentu dengan seorang atau beberapa imam yang masih tetap sebagai rujukan utama bagi hidup orang-orang Katolik. Karena itu perlu ada sebuah klarifikasi mengenai model “paroki” yang seperti apa yang diamanatkan oleh Paus Fransiskus agar rumusan mengenai “paroki sebagai pusat misi” ditemukan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif berupa penelusuran, observasi, dan dokumentasi atas teks-teks Magisterium dan artikel yang relevan dengan fokus penelitian. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat empat tema yang perlu dibahas untuk menunjukkan keberadaan paroki sebagai pusat misi, yaitu: 1) identitas paroki, 2) <em>parish ministry</em>, 3) <em>pastoral planning</em>, dan 4) kelompok kategorial di tengah aktivitas misioner paroki. Through this research, the author understood the contribution of Marion's theory regarding the human face as an icon in social lives during the postmodern era. In order to get the results from the research, a qualitative approach to the literature study was used. The results show that Marion's ideas complete the concept of social ethics characteristics, which can formulate ethics. Marion offers to live icon relations and reject idol relations in social lives because icon relations are relevant for eliminating truth claims (God) within the framework of displaying the character of religious adherents that are inclusive, hospitable, and constructive actions appreciative of each of the characteristics of the various definitions and concepts of divinity. Icon relations live the values of inclusiveness, accepting and being open to plural truth (definition and concept of God), and viewing truth as relative. Furthermore, Marion's understanding of human relations with humans speaks phenomenologically and is normative. Human relations refer to individual awareness that the responses in living together are ethical orders that speak through faces (icon), and the context of agape is also present. OBK is also often referred to as persons with disabilities. Even so, OBK are God's good creatures. With this awareness, OBK should have rights and obligations in their lives, especially in church life. With the limitations and specialties they have, OBK can take part in Church tasks thanks to the Sacrament of Baptism which is obtained according to their abilities. In addition, the rights as citizens of the Church also need to be considered. However, the people's perception of OBK is that there is still a tension of understanding. Pros and cons occur because of the assumption that OBK are still worthy of receiving Communion but there is also an assumption that OBK are unfit to receive sacramental services in and by the Church. This article is a research on the perceptions of the parishioners in several parishes in the Vicarage of the Special Region of Yogyakarta as a part of Archdiocese of Semarang for receiving Communion to parishioners who experience mental limitations. The research method used is quantitative methods. The purpose of this research is to make Catholics aware that OBK are God's good creations and they also have rights and obligations in the Church according to their abilities thanks to the Sacrament of Baptism they receive. The mission of OBK as Christian faithful is written in LG 10, book of canon law Canon 204, book of canon law Canon 208. This has an impact on ignoring human values, and does not provide opportunities for others to be respected and get the same life opportunities from a human standpoint. This is where awareness as an individual is needed as an awareness of contingency, to form pragmatism for the realization of opportunities in the human space. This is also relevant to the values of "aron", in the essence of life for the Karo people. The terminology of koinonia itself is an absorption from the Greco-European culture. All things that are good in the teachings of the Church often experience sociological and philosophical obstacles when they are communicated to the people. At this point, a new way of dialogue is needed in an effort to find a bridge for the growing faith of the people in the Surabaya diocese. This paper is a study to explore gotong-royong as a typical Indonesian form of koinonia. Awareness of collective work and respect for other human beings as has existed in the practice of gotong-royong in Indonesia could be a starting point for the expansion of koinonia in the Surabaya diocese.</em> <em>This paper uses a qualitative method by using a research on texts regarding koinonia in the Catholic Church and mutual cooperation in Indonesian society, until finally a common ground is found in its practice in the Diocese of Surabaya. ). The coinonia model is usually taken from the story of the early church in Acts. The main characteristics of the early church were: fellowship, listening to the Word, solidarity, breaking of bread, and witnessing the faith. This way of living together is what makes them liked and multiply. Fellowship (koinonia) is thus expected not to become a foreign import concept at all to be carried out and fought for together with the practice of gotong royong.</em></p> <p><em>&nbsp;</em></p> <p><em>Tema koinonia adalah inti dari arah dasar Keuskupan Surabaya. Terminologi koinonia sendiri merupakan serapan dari budaya Yunani-Eropa. Segala sesuatu yang baik dalam ajaran Gereja seringkali mengalami hambatan sosiologis dan filosofis ketika dikomunikasikan kepada umat. Pada titik ini, diperlukan cara dialog baru dalam upaya menemukan jembatan bagi pertumbuhan iman umat di Keuskupan Surabaya. Tulisan ini merupakan kajian untuk menggali gotong-royong sebagai salah satu bentuk koinonia khas Indonesia. Kesadaran akan kerja kolektif dan rasa hormat terhadap sesama seperti yang telah ada dalam praktik gotong-royong di Indonesia bisa menjadi titik awal bagi perluasan koinonia di Keuskupan Surabaya. </em><em>Tulisan ini memakai metode kualitatif dengan memakai penelitian atas teks mengenai koinonia dalam Gereja Katolik dan gotong-royong dalam masyarakat Indonesia, hingga akhirnya nanti ditemukan suatu titik temu dalam prakrteknya di Keuskupan Surabaya.</em> <em>). Model koinonia biasanya diambil dari kisah jemaat perdana dalam Kisah Para Rasul. Cara hidup bersama semacam inilah yang membuat mereka disukai dan bertambah banyak.</em><em>Gotong-royong bisa digunakan sebagai ttitik pijak awal untuk mempromosikan frase awal Ardas Keusukupan Surabaya (”persekutuan murid-murid Kristus......”) sambil meletakkan Kristus di tengah pesekutuan itu untuk memberi ciri khas Kristiani. Since the politics of Populism is corraleted with the politic of religious identity, this research then addresses the correlation of those two political phenomena. We utilize literer study as a method in exploring this study.
