Abstract

The article focuses on Heidegger’s Being and Time especially its preliminary parts. I put forward sketchy notes of its translation, the meaning of Being, and the notion of Dasein. I also argue that Being and Time is not only a breakthrough in the world of history of philosophy but also exposes critiques to discipline of humanities, such as history, politics, and sociology. Heidegger’s philosophical influence covers almost the majority of philosophers in the contemporary time from his time till the second decades of the third millenium. Methodology applied in doing philosophy of Being and Time is to read and make notes on margins of the book. With this methodology I got still freedom to philosophizing some central topics in Being and Time. As exposition of notes on the margins, I will end the article by positioning the notes in philosophy of phenomenology. By so doing, I intend that this study will be developed in further methods.

Artikel ini berfokus pada buku Being And Time karya Martin Heidegger, secara khusus pada bagian pendahuluannya. Saya mengajukan catatan-catatan ringkas tentang terjemahan dari buku tersebut, makna Being dan gagasan tentang Dasein. Saya juga berpendapat bahwa buku Being and Time sebenarnya bukan hanya sebuah terobosan baru dalam sejarah panjang Filsafat tetapi juga mengungkapkan kritiknya terhadap ilmu-ilmu humaniora, seperti Sejarah, Politik dan Sosiologi. Gagasan filosofis Heidegger mempengaruhi hampir seluruh filosof kontemporer mulai dari masa hidupnynya hingga dua dekade dari milenium ke tiga. Metodologi yang digunakan untuk mengulas secara filosofis buku Being and Time adalah dengan membaca dan membuat catatan-catatan pada setiap akhir tema-tema yang terdapat di dalam buku. Dengan metodologi ini, saya masih memiliki kebebasan untuk menguraikansecara filosofis beberapa tema sentral dalam buku Being and Time. Sebagai penjelasan atas setiap tema yang saya bahas, saya akan menutup artikel ini dengan menempatkan penjelasan-penjelasan tersebut dalam hubungannya dengan Fenomenologi. Saya berharap bahwa studi ini akan dikembangkan dengan metode-metode yang lainnya lagi
